One day, three painters decided to try something else. This unanimous
decision, separately achieved, grew from the artists1 shared interest in
making paintings that exist not only on the wall, but also around the
viewer. Tove Langridge, Monika Proffitt, and Paul Thomas collected metal
wire, wood, Plexiglas, army figurines, latex, cleaning supplies, projectors
and some animation advice in order to create something entirely different
for the both artists and viewers.

FLATFIT explores the possibilities available for a creative and exciting
gallery experience when the wall1s two-dimensional surface is disrupted and
made visually tangible with projection. Installing and projecting animation,
painting and photography, artists integrate two-dimensional form with
three-dimensional projection, enveloping the viewer within the images.
