Static Factory Media Presents the 5th Annual Gathering Of the Ram

On Friday, April 16th Static Factory Media and resident DJ Shapeshifter are proud to present The 5th Annual Gathering of the Ram.

In honor of Aries, the God of War, this event poses battles and competitions with a variety of creative performances. Dubbed the "ram" for the astrological sign of Aries, this event has been produced annually five times in 3 states, and continues to grow larger each year!

This year, we offer extreme stimulation for lover's of high energy dancing as well as lovers of performance art . The schedule is designed to offer our community the opportunity to view each performance while still having the option of tending a dance floor.

This year's theme is A Burning City: Post-apocolyptic Seattle. Thirteen DJ's will pair off on two dance floors for seven hours. Room 1: The Fallout Shelter
Room 2: The Combat Arena, both within The Capitol Hill Arts Center, 1621 12th ave.

Performances include Seattle Semi-Pro Wrestling, Seattle Sinner Magazine says "It's the thrill of watching a school-yard fight, without any teachers to break it up." Come watch The Stranger's genius endorsed, Dirty Dave, take on Mr. Fitness for the SSP championship belt. Also, which wrestler will be the winner of the league's very first "Capitol Hill Dog Collar match!"

Other perofomances include BLOC Records Turntablist and Performer DJ BR8, Kocas Platos DJ Crew, an MC Battle hosted by MC Bones of 119 Junglist Crew, Las Vegas; DJ Battles and Scratch competition hosted by Shapeshifter, The Mandala Hoop-Off.

Visuals will be provided by FoxfireFX and Perfreal.
